Honestly we don't think you really need a 'guide' for Paris, it is much more special to discover the city yourself by getting lost and eventually having to ask in franglais, "où am I?"... but here we are with a few favourites that we would highly recommend checking out if you have time after all the 'important stuff' (Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Galerie Lafayette etc.). PARISIAN parksIt goes without saying that whether you're in Paris for a day or a week, you need to visit at least one (if not all three) of these perfectly Parisian parks: Place des Vosges Jardin du Luxembourg Jardin des Tuileries Load up with a baguette and charcuterie, plus a few macarons for dessert, and bask in the sun and people watch to your heart's desire. PINK MAMMA20 bis Rue de Douai, 75009 A feast for the eyes and belly, this restaurant is a landmark on its own with its very chic interior goals. Once you’ve paid the bill take a walk up and down the stairs as their eclectically chic décor changes on each level and is worth an IG story at the very least. FYI no reservations (yes, one of those) and the line gets big quick so don't arrive fashionably late. @bigmammagroup FONDATION CAFE16 Rue Dupetit-Thouars, 75003 If you’re a coffee connoisseur (i.e. from Melbourne) & fed up with crappy Euro versions, head to this Aussie run jaunt in a leafy République street. Best on a warm day since it's pea sized and sitting outside is prime. Not far from cool girl concept store, Merci. @fondationcafe PARIS HIGHLINE: COULEE VERTE RENE-DUMONT1 Coulée verte René-Dumont, 75012 Only just becoming known among the foreign crowd, the walk along the Bastille section is particularly pretty with rose tendril arches and views over Paris rooftops. You could choose to walk the whole way to Bois de Vincennes, or start from the east and end up in Bastille where you can have lunch at Place des Vosges. SISENG82 Quai de Jemmapes, 75010 Crêpes and macarons are great, but please try these bao burgers at this super chill restaurant along the Canal Saint Martin! Super delicious alongside sweet potato fries (with a caramel like mayo – don’t ask, just try) and the Tora! Tora! Tora!: whiskey cocktail with chilli and chocolate (again, don’t ask, just try!).
